We know you are as eager as we are to return to the world of live music! We here at The Brewtet have met a lot of people over the last two years, and we'd like to feature them here on this page each week. We'll have a video of them playing as well as an update on how they are doing during this pandemic. If you'd like to be featured on our Friends of The Brewtet page, just send us an email at Thebrewtet@gmail.com.

Hi friends! I really miss seeing and playing with you all in Cbus, but I’ve been trying to stay positive during quarantine! Living in an apartment with thin walls has been tough; I’ve been struggling to find adequate time to practice without disturbing my neighbors. When I’m able to play, I’m working on cleaning up some of my favorite transcriptions and learning lots of new melodies by ear. I’m striving to make my own improvisation more melodic and coherent, so I hope this method helps me achieve that. I’m also preparing to move to New York City this August to start my Master of Arts in Music Therapy program at NYU. I’m definitely feeling nervous about this huge change / leaving my friends and mentors behind to go navigate this new scene, but I’m excited for the opportunity to spend a few years in NYC. I plan to settle in Cbus after my program ends though, so this goodbye isn’t forever! Sending much love and e-hugs to everyone out there. Stay safe and strong! =]
